The 6.5L Turbo Diesel is hard on oil. Soot loading, heat, and long idle time break it down, and a single factory filter only catches the bigger particles. The SABAR H1 Dual Remote Bypass Oil Filter System replaces the stock filter with a frame-mounted head carrying two filters: a high-quality full-flow filter that protects the engine on every pass, and a large bypass filter that pulls out the fine soot and wear particles a standard filter lets through.

What you get
- Cleaner oil, all the time. The bypass filter removes the fine soot a diesel produces, so bearings, cam, and turbo see cleaner oil.
- More oil in the system. Two filters and the lines add capacity, which helps with oil cooling.
- Easier service. Both filters hang from one remote head instead of the factory location on the block.
- Longer drain intervals, done right. Pair the kit with oil analysis to stretch your intervals safely.
Built for the H1, not adapted to it
- Remote dual filter head on a stainless frame-mount bracket with backing plates, so it bolts to the frame rail without drilling the engine.
- Pre-made braided oil lines. The fittings are already installed, with nothing to cut or crimp.
- Engine block adapter replaces the stock filter mount, with 90° adapters to route the lines cleanly.
- Two premium synthetic-media filters included. A full-flow filter and a large bypass filter come in the box, ready to spin on.
Fitment
- Every Hummer H1 with the 6.5L Turbo Diesel.
- HMMWV M11xx-series trucks with the 6.5L Turbo Diesel, including the M1113, M1114, M1116, M1151, M1152, M1165, and M1167.
- Turbo only. Does not fit naturally aspirated (non-turbo) 6.2 or 6.5 engines, or gas engines. Some 11xx trucks, like the M1123, came with the non-turbo 6.5 and aren't covered.

Installation
Bolt-on install with basic hand tools, about 2 hours. No permanent modifications. The block adapter replaces the stock filter mount, the filter head bolts to the frame rail on the supplied bracket, and the pre-made lines connect the two. Installation instructions are included.

FAQ
Does this replace my stock oil filter?
Yes. The block adapter takes the place of the factory filter mount, and the full-flow filter in the kit does the stock filter's job from the remote head.
Will it fit my non-turbo 6.5 or 6.2?
No. This kit is for the 6.5L Turbo Diesel only. Contact us about NA engines.
Do I have to cut or build any hoses?
No. The braided oil lines come pre-made with the fittings installed.
How long does it take to install?
About 2 hours with basic hand tools, and nothing on the truck is permanently modified.
How often do I change the bypass filter?
Follow the service interval printed on the bypass filter, and change the full-flow filter with your oil. Oil analysis is the best way to set your own intervals.
Does it add oil capacity?
Yes. The second filter and the lines hold extra oil, so check the dipstick after the first fill and top up.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is
accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or
not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please
remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Orders can be delayed from shipping for a number of reasons. Most products we offer are actively stocked and ship quickly but some, such as our custom Methanol Injection Kits, are hand-built in our facility and can see extended waiting times. All items are shipped in the safest, most reasonable method possible to ensure safe and timely delivery. Arrival time generally takes 3-7 business days within the USA depending on location.
