The HMMWV's factory fan is geared to the engine. It turns slowest exactly when you need air most: idling, crawling, sitting in a convoy or a hot staging area. At speed it keeps spinning hard and eating horsepower. The SABAR H1 24V Electric Fan Conversion fixes both. Four high-output 10-inch 24-volt fans run on coolant temperature, not engine speed, and plug straight into your truck's 24V system. No converter, no hybrid wiring.

On a 6.5 that starts at 150 hp (NA) or 190 hp (turbo), 8–12 hp is a difference you feel every time you hit the throttle. In testing the engine also ran smoother through the rpm range and recovered temperature faster after hard pulls.
What you get
- Cooling when it counts. 11,100 CFM in two stages, at idle, in convoy traffic, and at crawl speed.
- Native 24 volts. Each fan draws about half the current of a 12V fan, so wiring and connections run cooler.
- Colder A/C. The controller's A/C input brings the fans on with the compressor. It can also run from a dash switch for manual override.
- Set it and forget it. One-button Davies Craig controller with a live coolant temperature display, °F or °C. It keeps your setting even with the battery disconnected.
- Built to last. Fans rated for 6,500 hours, roughly 180,000 miles.
Built for the HMMWV, not adapted to it
- Custom aluminum shroud plate bolts to the radiator in place of the stock shroud, with edge seals so air goes through the core, not around it.
- Arrives pre-mounted and pre-wired. All four fans are bolted to the plate and wired, ready to install.
- Smart airflow path. The shroud exhausts hot air under the truck, where low pressure above about 30 mph pulls even more air through the cooling stack.
- Name-brand controller. Davies Craig dual fan controller with a digital display.

- 24-volt military HMMWV with the 6.2L or 6.5L diesel (NA or turbo).
- Not for 12-volt civilian Hummer H1s.

Installation
Bolt-in install. The fans arrive mounted and wired, and the shroud bolts to the radiator in place of the factory fan and shroud. Step-by-step instructions and a wiring diagram are in the box.
Trucks with A/C: the condenser comes out with the cooling stack, so the system has to be discharged before and recharged after. Plan on an A/C shop for that step.

FAQ
12V or 24V?
Military HMMWVs are 24V unless converted. Civilian H1s are 12V. Order the kit that matches your electrical system.
I converted my HMMWV to 12V. Which kit?
If the whole truck is now 12V, the 12V kit.
Do I need a 24-to-12V converter?
No. The fans and controller are all 24V and run straight off your truck's system.
What wire do I need to buy?
Power and ground from the battery, 10 ga minimum. The fan harness is included.
Do I have to remove the A/C condenser?
Yes, on A/C trucks. The system must be discharged first and recharged after.
Will the fans come on with the A/C?
Yes, through the controller's A/C input. You can also wire it to a dash switch to run the fans manually.
Can I change when the fans come on?
Yes. Set the target temperature with the button on the controller. Your setting stays even with the battery disconnected.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is
accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or
not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please
remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Orders can be delayed from shipping for a number of reasons. Most products we offer are actively stocked and ship quickly but some, such as our custom Methanol Injection Kits, are hand-built in our facility and can see extended waiting times.
