Your H1's factory fan is geared to the engine. It turns slowest exactly when you need air most: idling in traffic, crawling a trail, sitting with the A/C on. Out on the highway it keeps spinning hard and eating horsepower you don't need it to. The SABAR H1 Electric Fan Conversion fixes both. Four high-output 10-inch electric fans run on coolant temperature, not engine speed, so you get full airflow at idle and the power back at cruise.

On a 6.5 that starts at 150 hp (NA) or 190 hp (turbo), 8–12 hp is a difference you feel every time you hit the throttle. In testing the engine also ran smoother through the rpm range and recovered temperature faster after hard pulls.

Built for the H1, not adapted to it
- Custom aluminum shroud plate bolts to the stock radiator in place of the plastic shroud, with edge seals so air goes through the core, not around it.
- Arrives pre-mounted and pre-wired. All four fans are bolted to the plate and wired, ready to install.
- Smart airflow path. The shroud exhausts hot air under the truck, where low pressure above about 30 mph pulls even more air through the cooling stack.
- Name-brand electronics. Dakota Digital Bluetooth controller and MSD relay module.
Fitment
- 1993–2004 Hummer H1, all engines: 6.2L diesel, 6.5L diesel (NA and turbo), and 5.7L gas. Every H1 in these years uses the same radiator.
- HMMWVs that have been engine-swapped or fully converted to a 12-volt system.
- Does not fit the 2006 H1 Alpha (6.6L Duramax), which uses a different radiator.
- Not for 24-volt military HMMWVs. Choose the 24V kit instead.

Installation
Bolt-in install. The fans arrive mounted and wired, and the shroud bolts to the stock radiator in place of the factory fan and shroud. Step-by-step instructions and a wiring diagram are in the box.
Trucks with A/C: the condenser comes out with the cooling stack, so the system has to be discharged before and recharged after. Plan on an A/C shop for that step.

FAQ
Will this fit my H1?
Every 1993–2004 Hummer H1, gas or diesel. Not the 2006 H1 Alpha.
12V or 24V?
Civilian H1s are 12V. Military HMMWVs are 24V unless converted. Order the kit that matches your electrical system.
I converted my HMMWV to 12V, or engine-swapped it. Which kit?
If the whole truck is now 12V, this 12V kit.
Can my electrical system handle four fans?
Each fan draws 11–11.5A running and 18.5A at start-up, and the fans only run when coolant temperature calls for them. Check that your alternator has the headroom, and use 8 AWG for the power and ground run.
What wire do I need to buy?
8 AWG power and ground from the battery. The fan harness is included.
Do I have to remove the A/C condenser?
Yes, on A/C trucks. The system must be discharged first and recharged after.
Can I change when the fans come on?
Yes. Set on and off temperatures in the controller's phone app.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is
accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or
not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please
remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Orders can be delayed from shipping for a number of reasons. Most products we offer are actively stocked and ship quickly but some, such as our custom Methanol Injection Kits, are hand-built in our facility and can see extended waiting times.
